Letter to the Church

Dear Church Family (not just the men),
The past year has been an exciting time for the men’s ministry of the Batavia Church of Christ. We have changed our name from the Barbarian’s to the Trailblazer’s, introduced a new mission statement and have added a new member to our leadership team, and all of this is just the beginning! We wanted to take a moment to update you on where the men’s ministry is headed.

To our church family:
We want to be known as a ministry that can be relied on by the congregation and the community. If you ever have a need that you think the men’s ministry can help with, please do not hesitate to ask. We also want to be known as a place of support and encouragement to the men of our church and our community. Please encourage the men in your life to get involved today!

To our fellow brothers:
We have ramped up our activities for the year. Attached is a tentative schedule for 2008. Some details are still being determined, for an up to date list please visit our website at (http://www.lifestreamcc.org) on a regular basis.

Every Saturday morning we are meeting at Batavia Station (the old Hardee’s across from the Batavia Post office) at 7:30 AM, with Mike Derico going through 1 John. We would love to have you join us for the lively discussion and great fellowship.

Also we are well underway in our planning for this year’s men’s retreat. We will be having it April 11th through the 13th. More details will be coming out very soon on this exciting weekend.

However for all of this to succeed we need YOU. We need you to be a presence in this ministry, this congregation, and the community. If the men’s ministry is your passion, please see us about where your gifts can be used to advance this ministry.
